Just for today...

Different Black Friday, but still...

A very talented group. I saw them at the Greek theater with my son. One thing they don't have at their concerts is a bunch of immature kids screaming that wouldn't know music if it crawled up their ass. :yesnod:

My band did a few of their songs and they were always well received. Not too many bands cover Steely Dan. i wish I had seen them or Dukes of September

Pretzel Logic
Rikki Don't Lose That Number
Dirty Work

I attended a concert a couple of years ago that featured them and the Doobs. The Doobs played first and a significant piece of the crowd left after about three SD songs. It was not a match made in heaven.

Funny the Dukes of September worked out great with the lead men of both Steely Dan and Doobie brothers playing together for three years. Playing songs from both groups. Maybe the burnt out Hippies that liked the Doobie brothers wanted the Grateful Dead instead of a more talented group like Steely Dan. :yesnod:
