Actually, it WILL scan a 97 Camaro. Ironically enough.....

I've done data loggin with it, as there's no real good scan tool for them, except Autotap.

Ed,
I have been using Palmer Performance Engineering program (Home - Palmer Performance Engineering, Inc.) for data logging and OBII code reading. I have no idea if you can do any tuning with the program but you are more than welcome to take a look at the program if you would like.

Thanks Lee. I've seen the Palmer stuff on the internet, but I know nothing about it other than what I've read.

Ed,

If you want I can bring the Palmer Performance Engineering program over to Virginia Speed's open house and you can take a look at the program.

Ok, now that long tube headers are now installed is it time for a tune? What will be the benefits of a tune?

Guess it's time to talk with Ed.

Hi Lee,

I haven't been on in a while. A tune will pick you up a few HP, and get the fuel trims dialed in a little closer. Not to mention all the little stuff like earlier fan turn on temps, eliminated skip shift, etc.

Thanks Ed.

I will be out of town most of next week but will give you a call to schedule a tune for my car (LT4 with ZF 6speed).

Tomorrow is the day Ed gets my car for the day to do his magic.
