Kathy been working on the Christmas Village for days: pics to follow this weekend sometime

I was gonna do that today, too cold and windy, it can wait.

Wife put tree up last night, i put a few thing s outside this morning then wind made brain hurt so they'll wait until weekend.

That's why I put them up two weeks ago,in my T shirt :seasix:

We had the whole Dickens Village and tried to sell them off when we moved....not one person wanted any (to buy) so we gave them away to the kids next door .....was a fortune......

I can imagine. Don't know what I've spent over the years but it makes her happy so it's worth it

I have a decent size set, picked most up in 2nd hand stores on the cheap. A set of 4 was 5 maybe 10 bucks few years ago, mint condition.

Too bad I didn't ask here ....looks like someone would have taken them.

We did indoors two weeks ago. We invested in Jellyfish lighting this year, so I'll switch from Autumn to Christmas today:seasix:

just got done helping Mrs. DAB put up the window/door candles (suction cups hold them onto the glass doors). and we're 2 short somehow. oops.

It was nice here yesterday, so the kids put up the lights in the afternoon. We turned them on after dinner was done for a while. I put the timers on them today, and they should start cycling in about 20 minutes. :thumbs:

Bah Humbug! I'm not going to put up any outdoor lights or decorations.

Starting mine today. Inside and outside, plus two trees (big one in the front room and 7’ tree in the back sitting room). It’ll take a few days. :willy:

It's been a couple of years since we've put up a tree. :shrug: I've never strung lights on the outside of the house. :shrug:

Bought some Atomi lights at Costco. They are LED and you can change the colors either by each strand or group them and have them change. We despise the asshats across the street so I quit decorating the front of the house. No one ever drives down the street so we decided this year to do the back. I've got the lights Red and Green for a Christmas scene now. I might change them to a Fade where they go thru all the colors, or maybe dancing? There are about 10 different scene's you can use or make your own. They are pretty cool lights.
