Trump was the best POTUS in my lifetime. Unfortunately, there are too many spineless Republicans out there, so his chances of winning in '24, I think, is slim.

I think what Trump should do is make a quiet deal with DeSantis. Trump to not run, endorse DeSantis, then DeSantis put Trump in charge of the massively corrupt DOJ.

I would love to see actual proof of a corrupt DOJ or any other department other than by someone's mouth or 3rd rate conspiracy websites.

Reminds me of Chicken little, every time someone comes along and says the sky is falling, they believe it. Trump is a bully, brooder, extrovert and instigator of trouble.

He drove both sides of the House and Senate nuts. If some Trump backed gets in anywhere, they will be more prepared to deal with it this time

Being a CNN guy you've obviously never seen any actual news, and are therefore unaware of the FBI spying on Trump starting during his campaign. The facts of this case make Watergate look like a picnic.

I agree with you, but Trump's ego is too big and his maturity level is too low. He is his own worst enemy. DeSantis would take the win by a landslide. The local GOP is certain of a 2024 red sweep. I know better. Too many 'takers' in our country who vote. We are in for another Democrat after Biden, IMO. If we last that long.

For those who are convinced that DeSantis is the only choice, please view his debate with crist.
IMO, DeSantis won, but crist is weak, very weak, and a bold-faced liar.
DeSantis should have buried him, and done so stating more of his past pol actions, but he did not, DeSantis got hung up on repeating talking points.

While I would vote for DeSantis if he was the party's candidate, I was not impressed with his debate skills, he does not possess the ability to go for the juglar.

He could have easily shot down the 4 years question by simply stating he is committed to making FL a better place over the next 4 years.
If, and he was, asked again, he should have stated I have already answered that question.

Crist was buried by DeSantis.. The elitists, money pushers know it..
Trumps ego is huge. If he doesnt run, his role will be something biggly..

He replied too often to crist's questions, for which the debate did not allow for.

He simply needed to remind everyone of the stances that crist has been consistent on since he was no longer FL's governor, which are very left and very expensive to hard workers, such as open borders and defund the police and being a powerful ally of the ABA.

YMMV, but I felt he could have performed much, much better, given his weasel opponent.
