Houston vs Titanic

Judge Hidalgo (Dora the Explorer) is requiring all of Harris county to now wear masks beginning Monday. Imagine this is the Titanic and it paints a picture of how ridiculous this is.

Titanic hits iceberg and the call goes out that "No one should panic, stay in your rooms. Do not climb in the life boats because we have to save them for the crew. The crew must have life boats in order to rescue passengers from the ice cold water"

Crew goes out in life boats and waits for passengers to swim to them.

Only a few passengers swim to them out of the many on the ship.

As the last part of the ship is going down, the Captain gives the passengers the command to "Grab anything that floats no matter what it is because it's better than nothing. If you don't grab something that floats, you will be arrested!"

I don't believe she has the authority to demand anything of the citizens.

Meet the highest elected official in the biggest county in Texas.....a seasoned professional:

Just kidding. She's a 29 year old young lady whose only job ever was as a language interpreter for a short while. I'm sure she's totally qualified to run one of the largest, most populous counties in the US.
