The C8 is an animal on Hoosiers...
 

On 100 treadwear R888R Toyos, my personal best was a 31.2 second lap. That was last month. Today I ran a 29.9 on Hoosiers, and my daughter's boyfriend ran a 29.11. Just WOW!

Tomorrow is street tires, so no video, but for me to drop 1.3 seconds on a 30 second course is MASSIVE.

Daughter's boyfriend, who is a very accomplished racer, after running that lap, said if you want a co-driver, I'm there. He was extremely smitten with how well the car handles on racing slicks.

You'll have to wait for videos from tomorrow. At the novice school, I don't run video, as I'm instructing. Tomorrow will be on Yokohama A052 street tires, and I'll have some video, but the yokes are not as fast as the Hoosiers.

For context, the fastest lap ever run on this course was a 29.7. My 29.9, and the subsequent 29.1 was amazing.

a mid engine w Hossiers - is a beast.

Same with my FGT, the Hossiers really woke up the car. Typical 3rd gear spin gone :yesnod:
