STAR WARS collectable fan?

I understand another company is going to make up a series of assembly parts of all the weapons in the movies......
the name of the company is Armo  |
I would love to have one of these, but I told my wife that the only way I will buy that one is if we win a Powerball.
I just cannot justify $800 for Lego. Wonder how much they have in that set, $50 in plastic? |
It's on my Christmas list.
I missed the last one as a set, but I ended up buying all of the pieces and building one anyway. :leaving: |

https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...archText=Lepin :seasix: That is one way to get the sets at a great discount. |

My understanding is that their actual production costs are more wrapped around the equipment, molds, maintenance, etc. And then there is the cost for the designers, licensing, etc. $0.10 per piece is pretty standard pricing on sets these days. At $800 most of the pricing complaints I have seen from people who are truly interested is more based on the fact that it should be closer to $750 at $0.10 per piece. Still not a cheap set. But a damn cool one. :yesnod: |

The catch with the old UCS Falcon is that the interest in it exploded after they stopped manufacturing it. So the $500 set has gone for as high as $5k on eBay for an unopened box, and $2500-3k for an open one. :wow: |
