I have more lights this year than I have before so I decided I better get in to the breaker box and make some changes. Still have a lot of open outlets for expansion.

Aerovette approved.

Couple of those extension cords look old... :slap:

How do you keep it so organized? My breaker box is a mess. :yesnod:

If my wife could get away with that she would.

Yeah, I see that now. I'll replace the new ones with old so they are all the same. Good catch.

That way if you get electrocuted you'll know what color the wire was. :yesnod:

Wow, fancy coated wires too. I take old coat hangers and cut them to length and wire those up from the breaker to the outlets.

I used all mine doing some welding on my old car frame.

DAB 12-01-2020 2:38pm

have you had to splice any cords together to get a longer cord? :leaving::slap:

I call BS!!!

No engine stand in the pic makes it non-Aero approved.

With a sophisticated setup like that, you may want to consider a security system:
Attachment 49613

Well, truth be told, I had some Christmas lights go out and had to splice the string. The stand is about 25 feet up...but it's not over the entrance to the house so risk is minimal.

Hey, looks like most of the cords are UL listed!
