[Book]David Goggins, Can't Hurt Me

I discovered this man by watching a few Joe Rogan podcasts over the last month or so. I purchased this book and cannot put it down. Basically the book covers his life from growing up with a physically and mentally abusive father, the racism he experienced growing up in small town Indiana, learning disabilities etc. He went from being 300 lbs and spraying for Cockroaches for Ecolab to becoming a US Navy Seal, Ultra Marathon Runner and at one point holding the World Record for Pull-Ups. Very inspiring story. :kimblair: |

He also completed the U.S. Army Ranger program.
David Goggins is a retired Navy SEAL and is the only member of the U.S. Armed Forces to complete SEAL training (including two Hell Weeks), the U.S. Army Ranger School (where he graduated as Enlisted Honor Man) and Air Force Tactical Air Controller training. https://davidgoggins.com/about/ |
Sounds like a great read...

Got the Dave Goggins book yesterday from my local library. Finished reading it today and give it a C+. His eary life was interesting and his military schools to include the Army Ranger school, in which he lost 54 lbs, during the 69 day course. The rest was a bit of a bore.:shots:
The following is a great read. I give it an A. All Secure by Tom Satterly :seasix: "Tom Satterly is a highly decorated combat veteran who was portrayed in the Oscar-winning 2001 film Black Hawk Down. He served in the Army twenty-five years, twenty in the nation's most elite and secretive special operations unit. He has led hundreds of missions, including some of our nation's most important special operations campaigns." https://www.amazon.com/All-Secure-Op...s=books&sr=1-1 |
