Deck table

I've decided to replace the old hand-me-down table on my deck with something smaller, nicer and that fits under the kitchen casement windows better. It will include a fire table with glass wind screen. Here's the design.

Since I'm here in Colorado with Zippy Truck, I went to a local Lowes and bought the lumber for my new table. We can't get redwood lumber back east for these commodity prices. This was about $180, which includes three 12-foot long 2x8's for the top, and a small assortment of 2x4s and 4x4s for the frame and legs.
I borrowed my son's 20v circular saw and cut the lumber to length in the parking lot. |
