I'll start....

White, black and some muzzie’s.

My next door to the south is a 60-ish white woman, but she was married to a black guy and has had two black guys living with her since, this is spanning 25-30 years. None of them stay more than a year or two.

She has a lily-white son and a very black daughter. Go figure. Not sure if the "daughter" is her biological or not.

White, and white. You buy your neighbors when you purchase your house. It took me 4 houses and 20+ years to make it.
Believe it or not, I didn't start out in a bajillion dollar home working at Burger King.

I think everyone on my road is White. Heck, I think nearly everyone in my zip code is White. Very little crime out this way.

When I was younger I lived in a nice/friendly mixed raced neighborhood.

Today I live in a very rural town that is over 98% white. Town is very large in area and small in year around population. Even the flatlanders that come up are white.

For some reason the blacks do not even come up here during the summer tourist times. They just do not seen to rent camps, go to state camp sites, have boats or go swimming!


As far as I know there is only 1 black family living within 10 miles of my house. They are decent and well accepted!

Sounds like you processed the 13% of the cows that were causing most of the problems. Nice. :)

My previously-mentioned lily-white neighbor moved here around 10 years after I did, so I didn't get to choose.

FWIW, her one black BF was a decent, normal guy, and her black daughter is very nice, polite, no ghetto shit, talks and acts like a normal white person.

She is 30-ish now, left home several years ago and I haven't seen her since. She may be a Joy Reid by now. :shrug:

When I moved here on this one mile-long dirt road in 1981, I was the 4th permanent resident, all white. There are now 12 permanent residents, and still all white.

The township I live in, Bristol, is 98.14% White, 0.33% African American as of 2000. Can't find anything more current, but I don't think it's changed much.

I've had a lot of black friends in my life, but my observation is they always seem to have a couple of screw ups in their extended family. So while they themselves are fine, Uncle Tyrone has a tendency to show up on the fourth of July drinking Hennesy out of the bottle and shooting his Mac 10 out of the car window.

All 5 houses with which we have a border or a "catty-corner" adjacency are currently white folks. Two doors to the South is a black family. We have several brown-skinned Hispanic families on the block, and a few Asians as well. Everyone keeps their house and property up well, and are friendly. I have no complaints with my neighborhood.

Whole "neighborhood" is white (23 owners, ~1,000 acres). There are only 119 black residents in the county and less Asians (and minus 1 as of a few weeks ago when Elaine Chow's sister got drunk and backed her Tesla into a stock tank and drowned).

Some of the Mexicans' ancestors were here before Texas' independence and fought alongside the Texians for independence from Mexico so I guess we'll let them stay. :Jeff '79: The other Mexicans keep to themselves and are laborers.

I only have one family on one side of my property and they are relatives (white). Relatives just past them are also white.

My block is all white, except for my next door neighbor, black. The original owner, my friend, died, and the family sold it to a very nice black lady, who has since married a very nice black guy. They are good neighbors.

The original owner is probably STILL rolling in his grave over that. Had I been in charge, I would have respected the wishes of the dad in that respect.
