Agreed. Curious as to what happened as it seems the producers have been in his corner previously...

My favorite car show of all time, I will say though that he (Clarkson) really needs to learn to keep his mouth shut in regards to certain topics. He is old enough to know better. I like his "not suffering bullshit" attitude but you still need to watch what you say in regards to certain topics.

But since we have no idea what actually happened with the "fracas with the producer" we will just have to wait and see what happens.

Radio Times is reporting that Jezza tossed a punch, but also makes it sound like that punch did not land. They're also saying all three remaining shows for this series have been removed from the listings...

No. Clarkson and Andy Wilman own the Non-UK rights to the show. Clarkson/Wilman are who you go to if you want to make a version of the show for another country, and they get a big chunk of the UK show's revenue earned from overseas broadcast. The Beeb is still in the driver's seat in the UK.

Yes it does. They had just gotten McLaren, Ferrari and Porsche to agree to terms on the hypercar summit. It was likely to be the big finale for this season...
