Did they have any security lugs on the wheels?

thecornerman 01-25-2020 5:05pm

No, I did ask though!
He said that he wasn't planning on parking it anywhere unattended

Thunder22 01-25-2020 5:32pm

why does it have to be "Official".... .asking for a friend.

they look better with the wing in my opinion.

Any thoughts on this build?

I like it with the chrome wheels (before they get ripped off)

The difference between the C7 and C8 color wise is that the C8 shows its lines in very color, the C7 loses them in dark colors for some reason.

Black.... :syf:

no chrome option on the C8 :seasix:

Thunder22 01-25-2020 5:54pm

the best c8 forum is https://www.midenginecorvetteforum.com/

not to draw traffic away from here, but it is considered the bible for the C8.

Considering the lists that all of the dealers have, most likely a 2022 birthday present :)

That's OK. We have talked about it, and I have said that I would like to have a more modern sports car at some point, and she is fine with that. But I don't want more than 2 cars, because I don't want to deal with any more hassle of registration, insurance, storage etc.

Right now, I have my "lumber hauler" Explorer, and my '70 vette. I won't consider buying anything like a C-8 until I get rid of one of the ones I currently have more or less for good. Since a C8 is probably not a good lumber hauler, that would mean getting rid of the '70 to make a near-term purchase reasonable. I'm not ready to let go of that one yet, and my current "work" requires a lumber hauler, so I am at least 2-4 years away from seriously considering getting one.

But I do think they are cool!
