What month in 2022 will Covid be downgraded from a pandemic, to an endemic, or declared to no longer be either ?

I understand. My logic is more about getting the Flight Attendants and Karens to STFU. I shouldn't have to pretend to eat or drink just to keep the nazis at bay. There is also a difference between getting away with something and it being allowed.

I was watching a video on CNBC by a physician who has been involved in the situation (NOT Fauci...some younger guy...forgot his name). He said that Covid will likely always be with us but after enough of the worlds population have been vaccinated and/or built up immunities, it'll be like the flu.

Now, we see different strains of the flu every year too, and people still die from the flu as well, but not in such large numbers and their immune systems/health is often very compromised.
