I think the gas tax was the icing on the cake

Most likely about out of control taxes, open borders, and a huge ***** for a president. France has been swirling the drain for years. They've made it too hard for normal people to survive, and they've had enough. As Margaret Thatcher said, "Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money". Most of the world needs a complete reset, including here.

The governments in most countries in Europe need an enema.

But then again, so does ours......

these protests will be short lived.

for most of the protestors, this is more work/effort they've done than whatever real job they have. they'll get tired and quit, go back to their cushy job and call it a day.
