Thoughts.....

Well I have been thinking about selling my D1SC kit and extra parts. I am pretty sure the only thing that is missing is the radiator braket for it to lay back some. It's just a thought but I am not sure. Seeing what everyones thoughts are. Here is the parts list.

D1SC kit (Dual IC kit)- upgraded brackets missing the radiator deal and I think the coupler for the BOV- USED
60# Inj-USED
NGK TR6 Plugs- NEW
Racetronics BAP-NEW
LS6 Intake with the 3 swap parts needed-USED
AEM A/F Gauge-NEW
AEM Boost Gauge-NEW
2 Pod Pillar-NEW

Thinking of selling because I there are just some other things I would like to do or go N/A. Like coilovers, new tires, need Targa seals(leaking), AC compressor(it **** on me).

Hmmmm ... *wheels turning*

Do I reeeaaaaaallly need this? ....... :leaving:

Well it's not really a need, it's a want. But I am mainly seeing everyones ideas if I should sell it. I would prolly keep the LS6 intake, Since I might do a H/C package it seems more feesible for what I am after, plus the other things i need done first. But at the time, I couldnt pass up teh offer on the D1SC.

That is a hard call for me I would love to have that done to my car and like Munch said you already have it, but I'm getting old and I don't think I could without getting the AC fixed.

Thanks for your service, if it would cost you more to replace it later than you could sell it for now then yea I would keep it and put in the closet.

Not a problem, that seems to be the common consensus

I went the other way. I bought most all the parts for a heads/cam swap then decided that I wanted to go the blower route instead. I had almost everything to complete the swap but realized I was spending as much as I would for a "nice used" blower setup. I say this because the car is an A4 and I'd have to pay for a stall and pay to have it put in, or attempt the install myself without a lift in a small one car garage. If the car was an M6 there would be no doubt the car would have a nice custom cam in it by now....then a blower down the road.

As much as I love the sound of a cammed car, I liked the ability to adjust the boost. With a heads/cam car....you get what you get power wise and that's it.

Personally, I'd hold on to it for awhile. Then if you still feel like you want to go the other direction, sell it then.

You sure the engine and driveline are in good working order? If not... a blower will just cause more headaches and bring more issues to the surface sooner.

Typically you need to take whatever number you have in your head and double or tripple it... I know you allready have a good clutch, but it seems like FI installs always lead to new "needs".

If I put an A&A V3 kit on my car it'd really need a new clutch and probably some longtubes.... so a $5000k supercharger kit needs $1000 of clutch + $1800 of headers + $500 of tune minimum.

Besides my AC compressor taking a crap on me the motor is strong. Driveline seems fine. Besides the little noise i hear in the front end. Which I think may be my ball joints.

Sell it, and get the other things you need/want taken care of first. You can always get another one later if you still want to go that route.
