iPad 2 today, baby! :dance:

There's talk of an iPad 3 being released... Now the last time apple released 2 new products in one term was in 05 it was the iPod mini and iPod nano.

They say the iPad 2 will be a slight improvement, but the one to watch for is the iPad 3... evidently that will be the cat's pajama's.

Sweet--I'll hold out for that one... I got a free iPad (16gig Wifi) with a product promotion at work, so I'll be holding onto that one for awhile :dance:

I'm sure they're fully capable of doing that. But taking the site down in the middle of the day builds everybody's anticipation. It makes a normal Tuesday feel like Christmas. Only instead of getting gifts, you're spending all your money.

I'm thinking of selling my current iPad and not getting another one.

What time is the announcement? And does anyone have a link to any blogs posting about it in real time?

The "shots" I've seen for the iPad 2 make it look uncomfortable to hold. The edges look "sharper", for lack of a better word.

Guess we'll find out in a few hours.

I have a feeling the press event today is going to be more about iOS 5 than the iPad2.

Nothing really earthshaking about the iPad2 from what we know so far, but it should (hopefully) bring the hardware in line with other tablets now being released with dual-core processors and stuff.

But iOS 5... I'm sure that will be the cat's ass.

I've waited a year for am iPad...I'm ready to order one as soon as the store comes back online.

I have an IPAD i think I will hold out for the 3 as well, unless they do a trade in thing that would be cool for an upgrade.

A trade-in deal would be cool, but I don't think that's Apple's M.O. :(

I didn't for a long time. I do now, though...mainly for the "stand" functionality.
