Hello all, things are starting to calm down a bit now that I am kinda established. I love driving here. the roads are well maintained with lots of twisties on the back roads and fast line driving on the autobahn. I have lots of pics and will upload them this weekend and post them mon. or tues. anyway here is a short clip of some twisties comming from post. It was only my second drive on them so I took it easy at about 105kph. anyway enjoy. in addition I have been on the autobahn but it is kinda over rated. about 60 percent have posted speed limits but the rest don't. So needless to say the no limit parts go by extremely fast. The Germans love the vette. I have had many offers some even as high as 20.000 euro which is a ton of cash. Lots of people take pics and ask to take pics so I feel like a movie star at times. Jynean will be here mid July and I've already lined up a bunch of stuff for us to do. Rambling now but will post more video and pics very soon.

There are places further south (Bayern) and out towards the new "Bundeslaender" (aka the former East) where there are good stretches of no speed limits.

Don't forget to check out the Nurburgring. They have open driving days where you pay and can drive on the track.

ff you ever want to run with a Nissan Skyline, My son has one and is stationed at Ramstein. He is half German, so he can show you all the good places to run. He was raised there. If you're interested send me a PM and I'll give you his number.

Glad you are having fun, looks like a nice place to be. I have hopped through Germany but never spent any time there. I am starting to regret not trying to get a recent company job at Ramstein, maybe next year.
