I dont know if you guys know about this ZF tranny. I think this is a piece of art.

The ZF 6 was designed in the mid 80s and today it still has an "unbreakable" reputation. That ZF may be ever better. I bet that thing can go 150,000+ miles maintenance free.

If anyone ever realize how to mod that into a LT1 Vette, I would give Boop a Nip/Tuck. Likely it will have to be a jerry rig mod, no company is going to invest into a new design for C4 Vettes.

I would like to try out one of the new 7 spd manual transmissions either in the new 911 Porsche or the upcoming C7.

6th is so low in the ZF6 that I never wanted another gear, but I have tried to grab 7th in other cars with closer ratio gears- it seemed like an inevitable evolution.
