[Movie]The Outpost

Watched this on Netflix yesterday. Surprisingly good, based on a true story. Clint Eastwood's son.

Two heroes Clint Romesha and Ty Carter received the Medal of Honor for their action during that battle.

I just binge watched Fauda. It was addictive.

I started watching it and not to come off like some delicate flower, but by about the 250th "****" I pretty much had enough. Reality or not.

I usually avoid men and women that have to constantly say Fk. It's ok once in awhile in a sentence but all the time. It's too ghetto for me. :yesnod:

Strats-N-Vettes 11-28-2020 10:14pm

I haven't watched it...yet.
Is it anything like Restrepo?

You were apparently raised outside of the Northeast US. In Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York and places in Virginia the F word is learned shortly after mama and papa, and is regarded as simply another regional colloquialism with no special social meaning.

I was raised in California and it's no different here. Most professional people that are wealthy they don't have it in their vocabulary constantly.

Just joking around. :Jeff '79:

As a person that didn't serve in the Military and/or has been in a gunfight, I thought the movie did a good job of capturing the pure chaos of combat. Confusion, not knowing up from down etc.

Carter and Romesha's Medal of Honor actions were very different as well, both extremely well deserved.
