Jaguar F type thoughts
 

Had not considered these cars, but drove my friends V6 version. Anyone have and experience and thoughts on these cars?

Yep. Drove one for two years…a 2016 F-Type S. Fantastic car. Fast, handles well, and basically sex on wheels. Probably one of the best looking cars I’ve ever owned (and I’ve owned a few). The V6 has plenty of power and a great sound too. Letting off the gas and hearing the exhaust pop and crackle the way it does is intoxicating. The only minor criticism I have is that the cabin is just a little tight for long trips. I took it up to Arkansas which is 5 hours from me to visit my kid at college and there were times I wished for a bit more room, but not much. Never a single issue with it either. The upside was that at least one of my son’s gal pals asked him if she could have my number. :D

I’m going to replace my Mercedes in March and going back to an F-Type (along with a newer Vette or an E-Class AMG) is definitely a consideration. You’d be very happy with an S or a model called the 400.

That’s for the info Iron Chef. Every thing I see and read say that are amazing cars and a used one is a great value. Would definitely get a certified use one for the extra year warranty.

I absolutely love them and was actively looking to purchase one when my C7 fell in my lap. Beautiful cars.
