What will you die from?

The speculation about gixxerbill and how we never really know what is inside a person's head or what their demons are, made me wonder what you all think will get you.

Adog will start.

Actually I will. I have a feeling a car accident will get me. I also have imaged a really high impact to my head from a beam or something. They may be one and the same in the end. :island14:

I don't think I'll die of old age/natural causes. I just hope it's not something stupid like missing the toilet and hitting my head and being found with my pants around my ankles ala Elvis. :Jeff '79:

If you could look into the future to find out how and when you're going to die, would you?

MrPeabody 01-20-2020 2:45pm

When you look at how my ancestors died, statistically it will be cancer or a cardiac issue. Sometime this spring I will be older than my father was when he died. Yet he died from cancer and I have siblings six years older than me (twins) and so far no cancer yet.:island14:

probably cancer

My dad died when he was 35, I was 8.
I was told that everything was ok, and dad would be home the next day...and he was gone.
That kind of messes a kid up.

Even as a kid, I figured I wouldn't be around long.
For some reason I have always felt like I would be in good health, have an issue and that's it...game over.
For that reason, I avoided doctors in my youth.

seems like it will be lung cancer in my family. I never smoked a single cigarette, but had plenty blown into my face by adults when I was a kid. They thought it was funny I guess.

I haven't been to a doc since 1982.

It's on the first floor, you might sprain an ankle at worst.

Usually heredity comes in to play. On my father's side, they live forever. On my mother's, it's usually heart disease around 75-85. We'll see!

Food:lol: heart stuff or the big C seem to be the big ones.

Aerovette 01-20-2020 4:09pm

I don't have cancer in my family, but already decided if I did and it could not be 100% removed by surgery, I was not going to do chemo.

My dad's side has longevity in their genes, but bad hearts. I'll have that to look forward to.

I never really think about it. When it’s your time to go it will happen. Most likely ...going too fast in my car.
