You guys are funny.

I must have started 3 threads about removing my alt bracket and the PS pump and received many helpful responses for which I am very thankful. What I find funny is not one of you said "have fun putting it back together:lolsmile:". It would have been a lot easier if I had removed the ABS module but I didn't so I had to do it like some Chinese puzzle. It's back on now so all is good and it was fun so thanks to everyone who offered help along the way.

Did you happen to discover the 4 screws securing the bracket to the head are different lengths? (I learned that the hard way too). :D

Other than that, I don't recall any troubles reinstalling it, but I removed as an assembly and reinstalled as an assembly. (PS lines were disconnected at the rack).

Yeah one of my bolts had a taper on the end, found out which hole that went in by trial and error. I bolted the alt bracket on and then went to put the PS pump on and discovered it wont work that way. Pulled the bracket back off and had to put 2 of the bolts in and then the pump and then try to hold the whole thing with one hand as I got the line connected and then could start the pump bolts. Then I had to start the 2 alt brkt bolts and put them in with a box wrench. The last 2 bolts were easy but had to take them back out because my nitrous kit has longer bolts with spacers to move the PS reservoir out.

It's all in and pretty now and about to put the alt back on and then the belt. I hope I don't have to replace the belt because it got PS fluid on it, well see.

Just wash the belt with light soap and water.

If you don't have a set of these, you now understand how useful they can be. :yesnod:
