made the plunge

Ok, after looking at numerous c3 Corvettes and asking questions , some may be bored with, I made the plunge and purchased a 75 yellow Corvette. Has the small block and auto. trans. 34,000 miles. Very nice Corvette. Will post a picture but not sure of how to do this. Ok, now for the ? Would like to install headers, probably shorty style , and then add the sidepipes like Binnie has on the C3 forum. Recommendations for headers? also, on the 75 port shape- are they round? oval? tube size- 1 5/8 inch? ceramic coated or stainless ? Appreciate the input. Also, would like to use the 60s style chambered pipe with the 70s cover, not sure of fitment of cover over these pipes. Yes, I am on a fishing trip but figure this is the place to ask questions as opposed to stumbling and learning from mistakes.

Links not working.
I do like jet hot coating though.
Chambered exhaust is going to be very extremely loud even for sidepipes.
Hopefully others will chime in.

Thanks for the input. With the mid 60s Corvettes, they had chambered exhaust in their sidepipes, would this be any louder?
