Broadening my list of ways I have tried to kill myself this afternoon.

Fun and frightening all in one!

Never done it, but it sure looks like a blast!:cert:

Too much input from the right rear, I'm expecting you to be loose in the next left-hander.

VITE1 08-25-2019 4:35pm

Good to see you survived.

That dude in the long sleeve white shirt up front looks like a badass :leaving:
And my wife in the pink raincoat next to you only bashed your face with a paddle and stabbed your knee once. :cert:
It was a blast and great seeing you Val!

Dan Dlabay 08-25-2019 7:10pm

I have done that several times and each time was fun and scary.:cert:

Awesome!

I did a float trip with my father when I was a young man on the North Fork of the White River, Northern Arkansas. Parts of it were intense! We went over a waterfall...probably about 12 feet. Everybody else got out and walked around it with their canoes. Not me and my dad. :Jeff '79::)

That trip bonded me with my father and it is a memory that I will carry to my grave. :)

How was the water? When I went last April. Water was FREEZING.

It was raining for most of the trip, the river water was warmer than the rain, so it felt pretty good actually.

Great pics man!

I've never done any rafting quite so hairy but I'd be down for it with provided we had somebody that knew what the hell they were doing.

Bring it! I’ve done a few other rivers, the ocoee was by far my favorite, and it’s only 25 minutes from my cabin. The guy next to me, is a good college friend, every summer during and after college he’d drive out west to be a rafting guide, normally he’d just kayak the river, but Val got him on the raft with us. So besides the guide we had plenty of rafting experience.

This specific location of the picture is where they held the 1996 olympics for white water kayaking.
