August's subject is Details.

The subject of your submission should a part or component of a larger object. The larger object can be anything.

Here are some examples:

Petals of a flower but not the whole flower
Hood ornament but not the hood
Tail light but not the fender
Headstock but not the guitar
Door knob but not the door

No real limitations but no chopping stuff in that wasn't there.
