Hear that tire blow on that logging truck? That's why I never waste any time passing a big truck. Especially on the bike. I wait till everyone who's playing follow the leader gets past the truck and then haul ass when the coast is clear.

I just don't understand the dumb****s who go into station-keeping mode next to a big rig. Not only are these assholes blocking the passing lane, but they're gonna be in a world of hurt if anything unexpected happens to the truck.

We had pot "Tap" out a little while back. The molten metal and bath looked like a volcanic eruption. It melted one leaf of our ring bus work headed to the other pots. Took about 40 minutes of scabbing pieces together to get the line load back up. You only get up to 2 hours of downtime with no power before you freeze the pots and have to dig them, reload and restart. On 150 pots that is about 6 weeks of lost production and about $5M to restart the line.
