Lawsuits are great!!!

Sure didn't take long for a few libbie teachers in California to file suit against Delta for dumping fuel that hurt exactly no one. As a career aircraft mechanic, so far, being exposed to jet fuel (AKA Diesel) has not caused me to drop dead. Hell, I don't want to bathe in it, but those dummies didn't get any more than fumes on the ground. The pilots had a responsibility to get passengers back on the ground safe, but good ol' Gloria Allred has jumped on the case in a hurry. People like them are why our country is ****ed up three ways from Sunday.:issues:

as a business owner, I can tell you lawsuits are a way of life. if some puissant snowflake feels slighted in some stupid way, they want to file suit and hope to hit the lotto. its completely out of control, and attorneys in many cases should be ashamed of themselves.

They’ll file suit especially when it’s a deep pocket they’re going after.

Shakespeare had it right.

There going to win the suit!. There was no reason for that chit to be dumped there. The tower even asked them if they had to dump, they said no and then dumped it. Lying to ATC will not go over well! :wtf: Pilots blew it big time and the company will pay out and a couple pilots are going to be looking for a new ride!

That plane was a "ocean crosser" and once airborne could fly OK with 1 engine. Those planes that go vast distances between land areas have to be 1 engine capable. They could have gotten height and then dumped it, it would then dissipate before it hit ground or ocean.

I'm aware. Have had frivolous suits ongoing seemingly one after the other for years. My expensive attorney hasn't lost yet.

If you don't you become a target. It's no different than punching the bully in the mouth when you are 13. He tends to leave you alone after that

And it’s a shame that the only winners out of all this are the attorneys.

When my son turned 18 we had to go through the process of guardianship so we could treat him like he was under 18 the rest of his life... decide when he should go to the doctor, dentist, etc...

To do this requires me to not only use my attorney, but to hire him one of his own. Those two rat-bastards sent me bills weekly and nothing was getting done. I had to threaten to fire them both and poof, it was done in three days with a court appearance to wrap it up the following week.

Mine lives on the same street as me at the beach in summer. At least the 850/HR nets a few free drinks lol.

That's 3xactly the kind of crap that gives them a bad name. In my case I wouldn't be caught in business without one. I dgaff I feel he is worth it.

Yup. Our family has used the same attorney family for four decades. Three generations :seasix:
