It’s not easy but you’re doing the right thing.

That’s a good choice. When I learned of this option a few years ago, I decided I’ll be doing this from now on. Let the vet come to the house rather than go through the stress of being at the vet office.

This way, as your boy goes into his final sleep, you can sit with him in the home he’s always known and is most comfortable.

Sometimes the right decisions are the hardest and most painful.
But being with you and in his own home as he says goodbye is
as good as it gets.
Be grateful for memories and friendship you both enjoyed.

Thank you everyone. I know Corbett is no longer suffering. He’s now able to run and play again. I knew this would be hard but I didn’t expect to be this broken up.

Dude I was a wreck for a while. I did the same thing as well. The vet did not tell me how quick it was going to be??? I was holding him at the time.:sadangel: I just pray they are in a better place man.:cert: Sorry sir. I know the pain brother.

They're part of the of family. Losing family is always hard. I still grieve for my old Rottweiler who died 20 years ago.

Sad to hear he had to go but it is comforting to know he isn't suffering any longer. :angel:
