Man it’s in such a pretty part of the country, they’ve just got waaaay too touristy of a feel. All the signs just ruin the vibe for me, it’s like a mini Kissimmee.

But that said, have a blast! I love the area up there!

Reds is just down the road (Gatlinburg)

Been there once, then up to G-burg after a Tail run. We hit at the peak tourist time, traffic and people all over the two towns, nice area, but couldn't wait to get out of there.

Was there in the 70's and it was laid back and relaxing. Went the about 10 years ago and it's not laid back now. To much traffic and to many people.

After Labor Day isn’t bad but we made the mistake of going over the 4th of July last year, big mistake :D

A big storm rolled through today and the entire place blacked out. No traffic lights, no power anywhere. People apparently were stuck in the elevator at the wax museum.
