put away tools, chip up remaining thin set, touch up painting, then time for installing tiles in laundry room (have to move the washer/dryer around). after that, build a custom storage cabinet on wheels for laundry room. when that's all done, build a 8 foot long sideboard for the dining room (red oak to match the dining room table). gonna be a busy August.

I usually take mine to the car wash after the motor is warm I use an engine degreaser and let it sit for about 10 minutes they rinse, depending on how much crud you may have to do it more than once, once it's clean it pretty easy to keep that way. My old F350 Diesel was covered in crud from lack of care so that's what I did and a motor leak I had for years was easy to spot. Good luck Robbie.

I have a can of Gunk and some throttle body cleaner for the carb. BUT after I had a good look at the 52 year old electrics and spotting a couple of firewall grommets that are missing.....I decided not to power wash it. :willy:

That was the plan. Take it to the power spray car wash just down the road, spray it warm, let it sit, spray it off. But I think I'll do it the piece by piece way so I don't do any damage to anything, like a 5o year old voltage regulator you can't buy anymore! Had a nice drive instead....lots of looky-loos for sure out on a nice day like today. :clever:

Just kidding... I forget what happened, but we kinda took this weekend off.

I don't like to drink alone much, but wont blame anyone else for making me drink as I am usually a bad influence myself..

I remember when I was a teen my Mom said to me one time.

"You know Tim, you were such a good kid till you hit the teenage years, and then you turned out to be the kid of kid I didn't want my kids to hang around with"

Now that I am older and have some sense now, (at least a little) I realize she was right..

Wow, Tim's in the bar! :hurray: That's unusual, what ?, you slumming?

Late start for me this morning...cloudy and overcast, chance of thunder storms. Good day to sleep in. Yesterday I found out why my old 62 is running like crap. A tiny rubber bushing in the distributor decided to disintegrate after 50+ years and threw the timing all out of whack. the nerve!
So that's todays garage project if I feel like getting into it.
