Explosive Diarrhea: "Bomb Threat" at a Kansas Home Depot
 

When a man inside a hardware store bathroom proclaimed a bomb was about to go off, he was actually referring to the mess he was going to make sitting on the toilet, cops say.

On Monday, cops were called to a Home Depot in Wichita, Kansas, after a report of someone in a bathroom saying: “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up.”

According to the Wichita Eagle, an employee told police he was in the bathroom “standing at the urinal” when a man came out of a stall proclaiming: “Somebody told me there’s a bomb in the building, you need to leave the building.”

The Home Depot worker reportedly asked the man to repeat what he said. The man made the statement two more times. That’s when the store employee promptly left the bathroom, told security about the incident and called 911.

A police report noted a store clerk recognized the man, stating he was a regular customer. He gave cops the man’s name.

An officer contacted the man on the phone. He told cops he was trying to be funny and that he “had no intention of causing such alarm.”

The man in question told police he heard another person in the stall next to him announce something that sounded like, “You need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up.” The man said he did not know who said that line, the police report noted.

The man said he and the other person laughed because they knew what the humorous warning was about. The man told cops he knew his potty pal “was in a serious need to defecate” and that he tried to “provide a polite warning” to other men in the bathroom, the Wichita Eagle reported.

The man said he didn’t think the attempt at bathroom humour would be “taken so seriously.”

No charges were laid in the incident.

Too funny! I can remember the days where I might have said similar, now I’d like to think I’m a little smarter as I would predict that this would be the outcome

When the paint comes off the walls is warning enough......

Well, out here in mechanic land, If I don't hear "I'm going to go blow up the shit box" ten times a day, I don't hear it once. And never once did I think anyone was taking high explosives in there. An explosive poop, you betcha, and if you're wise you steer clear of the place for hours.:yesnod:
