What to do in Dallas Tx during the week...
 

My wife and I are going to be in Tejas Nov 4-8 this year...she has some training to do for work, but will have free time, and all of my time out there, I have nothing to do. Any locals have some advice, or even want to meet for dinner/drinks? Go.

Go check out the Texas Book Depository for some history. The aquarium is cool, flight museum, Reunion Tower, Cowboys Stadium, Rangers game, Discovery Gardens, Speed Zone, Texas Museum of Automotive History.

Then eat at Mike Anderson's, Off the Bone, or Lockhart's for BBQ.


No, just no. There is much better BBQ in Dallas.

One of my personal favorites, go sit at an outdoor bar and watch the SMOKING hot Texas girls walk by.

Sounds good! I only know that we will be in Sunday the 3rd and out Friday the 8th so far. I know we are staying at the hotel where she is doing her training, so we probably won't have any transportation minus the shoe lace express. We will be limited to staying within a close distance to the hotel for that factor alone. However, I get cabin fever very quickly, so a $30/day rental of a turd on wheels will likely be in the mix...Plus, that lets me do a few things that I would like to do while she is doing her stuff.

Top Golf - batting cages and driving range and full bar with waitress service to your golf tee. Great way to kill a few hours.

I forgot about Top Golf, that place is awesome.

Most people say Dallas when they are 30 miles away. Are you actually in downtown Dallas or one of the burbs? :waiting:
