Ask anyone who traces people's ancestry. Who will decide the rules, who will pay for the work it takes to find the ancestral facts?

Sure, let's pay for reparations. This is how it should be handled. Each person due a reparation, will be issued a check from the gov't and mailed to them. Each check will be made out to a nationally recognized legitimate charity of their choice, then the receiving individual can turn it over to the charity they recommended.

What if I told you the vast majority of slaves weren’t treated nearly as bad as people let on? Why is that...? I think that $0.00 is the appropriate amount in that if they are in fact a descendant of slaves brought to America in the late 1700's and early 1800's their quality of life is better than those relatives that were not sold as slaves and still live in countries such as Niger.

Second, how is anyone going to be able to distinguish between a descendant of a slave and someone who immigrated (either legally or illegally) to America at any point from the 1860's through today?

Or are we going to give any/all people of color a reparations check?

As far as I'm concerned I have been paying reparation all my working life to those slugs.

Much of my tax dollars (state&Fed) goes to support those people, some of them 4 or more generations on welfare. Got to build prisons, hire guards and how about all the money spent to repair their worthless asses every time they shoot each other up over a bad drug deal or other ghetto type bullshit.
