CEO blasted for saying "merit over diversity" in hiring
 
This country has officially become insane.

The Snowflake CEO said during an interview that "merit is more important than diversity" with regards to hiring. He was blasted and has since walked back his statement.

He was right, though. People should be hired based on their merit, not their skin color, gender (especially if they're confused about their gender), sexuality, etc. What do you bring to the table? Value? You're hired. Do you simply check a box? Keep on stepping.

The main fault I see with this CEO is the fact that he walked back his statement. THAT is the REAL problem this nation is facing. Say what you belive and believe what you say. Own it and FK those that choose to disagree. If more did this, PC would be reduced to a history lesson.

Remember when a bunch of folks fled Europe to escape all the bullshit and settled in a New World? Maybe history is about to repeat itself, and all the sane people will pack up and leave the festering shithole that our once-great country has become. The only question is WTF will we go? :shrug:

Your "WTF will we go" is nowhere. There isn't any place left to go. That's why this will lead to a new kind of civil war for the US. It won't be about Armies fighting but civilians fighting. the country will be broken up into factions. The big cities will be ruled by the left until they can't supply what they've promised. They'll try to raid and steal from the smaller working cities and farms.
