Halloween MegaThread: How Many ToT'ers Have You Had so Far?

And where is the Krispy Kreme thread? :toetap:

We're off to a good start, maybe 25-30 so far! It's cold, but not raining, which was predicted.

We went out to dinner so we weren't here, but we did buy chocolates and chips for the neighbor kids, which we tried to drop off, but they weren't there. Hopefully they claim them soon. Was a pain in the arse to find "WHATCHAMACALLIT" chocolates...the kid's favorite.

Kids must be scared of old people. Never seen one on Halloween in the senior mobile home park I live in.:island14:

Stop handing out prunes, hearing aid batteries and tubes of Ben Gay and you might draw a bigger crowd!

:D

When I was a kid we loved the old people. That's where you got all the home baked goods.

I agree. Everybody liked the house that handed out caramel apples! Sad that kind of thing isn't done anymore.

No ToTs here. Gated community where almost everyone who has kids, they are way too old to collect candy. Most residents don’t bring their grandkids down for ToT but for other holidays

Got in a bit late, so only 3. Think my neighbor said he got 15-20 total, with about a dozen showing up all at once.

Since we are a small development (36 houses), usually we do a neighborhood Halloween party where tables are set up and pizzas are ordered, and we all make/bring yummy treats (cupcakes, cookies, etc), but this year we had a t-storm come through right about when that would've happened. :ack: Too bad as it got up to 75 today, great costume weather. :yesnod:

Last year I made pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes :yum: someone else made chocolate dipped Oreos with white chocolate spider webs on them. We did have one creative neighbor make guacamole and put it inside/spilled some out of a hand-carved jack-o-lantern to make it look like it was :puke: , served with black/purple tortilla chips. :Jeff '79:

Oh well, maybe better weather luck next year :kimblair:

Zero

Bill 10-31-2019 9:02pm

Just wrapped things up. I'd say maybe 70 or so kids. That's pretty good, we usually have 50 or less.

snide 10-31-2019 9:07pm

We’ve had a tiny bit of rain today so it has been postponed.

Cybercowboy 10-31-2019 9:58pm

Had about 80 tonight. At a buddy's house for dinner, good thing we brought some extra candy.

NEED-A-VETTE 10-31-2019 10:09pm

Looks like about 75 or so. They’re still coming but thinning out.

Wathen1955 10-31-2019 10:59pm

At least 75 or so, but we have a house about 1/2 block south of us that the guy spends $$$ on decorations and puts on a show. Has music, props, etc. He puts it up every year, so most of the kids go there for the entertainment.

Black94lt1 10-31-2019 11:46pm
