Son's High School Game
 

Yesterday, the JV Team at my son's high school played on the Freshman practice field because of repairs to the main stadium. Because there were no bleachers, spectators were allowed to sit on the field but well back of the players. This allowed me to get some really good shots of Steven (number 72, offensive left guard) and his team.

One thing that I love about the States, high school football, I absolutely love Americana. Good shots Iron man.

JV team has chicks?

Yep...but he's a legit Junior. Name is Cameron. My son says he's a nice kid too.

Girls are trainers assistants and water girls.

Their Varsity Team is unstoppable. Here's how they've scored against their opponents this year.

W 20-3
W 48-13
W 14-10

W 62-21

They're ranked #1 and when they played my old High School, score with *, my boyfriend and I decided not to go as we already knew there was no chance of a close game. We were right. :-(

I'd like to see them go up against the Tongans, I mean the Trinity Trojans. That would be a great game to watch. :-)

Mike, how is Stevens team doing? What's their record?

I'm so glad (and jealous) that Steven's broken foot didn't keep him down long!

I believe they are 9-2. Their two losses came against teams that only had one squad and were fielding Varsity players. Otherwise, they were racking up scores of 40, 50 and 60 points per game.

After the JV season ends, Steven will go into post season. JV players are given the option of practicing with the Varsity (basically being their tackling dummies) but they will travel and suit up with the Varsity in their uniforms during games, and if Varsity wins state, they will receive rings. :yesnod:

Yeah...makes me really proud. He's grown into a good looking, nice kid. :)

Whenever I played ball and we had a chick on our team I made dam sure she was the QB and I was the center and I always called for a long snap count.
