Closing on our home tomorrow

It has been a great 17.5 years but time has come to move forward.

House is empty, with the help of my wife we have moved and loaded everything in this house into two pods in preparation for the move into our new home. New house will not be complete for another three weeks so we are relocating to Memphis to be with family.

Bittersweet day here. I will miss this house as it was my first home purchase.

Congratulations and all the best going forward! May you build many new happy memories in your new home. :):kimblair:

I hope you will have the best of times at the new house. Every move is an adventure. Have fun creating new memories.:cert:

And the crazy thing is that there my two Corvettes (2000,2009) were in the garage at that time. Shame the garage doors were not open at that time

I believe that is the old crib. The new crib is still under construction.

What kind of issues will you have if the prospective buyers insist on a black light inspection ?

Does bacon grease show up under a black light?

None. Wife is a cleaning fanatic and will come after you if you get more than two steps inside the house with shoes on.

Did you leave the blue stool in the party barn for the new owners?

Congratulations and best of luck with the new home.

Stevedore 06-29-2018 8:02am

Congratulations. :cert:

Very nice places, both of them, but I really like the style of the new one.

I know what you mean about missing your first home. We were in our first place for only about 5 years, yet I have more nice memories than of our next place, where we were for 39 years.

That can't be an accurate pic. The roof is not wavy.

It was a builder option but Dixie couldn't swing the upgrade. :sadangel:
