My Mom passed..
 

As most of u know, my Mom had a massive stroke in March. I live 3 states away in Ga, so my time with her was limited during this period. She slipped away peacefully tonight, and it really is a blessing that the Lord decided to take her on. The stroke was just devastating. I came to Va last Tuesday knowing she was going downhill fast. We were able to talk some and I was able to tell here i loved her before she became unresponsive. She had a good run for 85.5 years before the stroke in March. Please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.:sadangel:

My grandmother would have been 119 today.

I understand your grief. It is hard to accept but she and her family have been blessed that she is at rest. It was God's work that you were able to spend some good time with her before her passing.

James, I'm really glad you got to spend a bit of time before she passed. I got to spend my Grandmother's last 2 weeks with her.

It still makes me smile when I remember those final days because I know that she knew she was surrounded by family who loved her very much.
