The engine side ball bushing failed. It's a $20 item. He ran it too long and now is looking at close to $200 in parts. :banghead:

Well hell, in that case just drill a hole through a couple of 4x4's and wedge them in at either end of the shaft. Wood makes a good bushing. Be sure to soak the 4x4's in motor oil, so they'll deliver a steady dose of lubrication.
