Nasty crosswinds
 

My flight instructor always told me that high crosswinds build character. They also make your butthole clinch....:yesnod:

That's right, I'd forgotten you had your private pilot's license.

I remember right before I was to take my FAA written exam (which I passed BTW) I posted a question looking for some clarification on something VOR related. You told me I was gonna be a shitty pilot and probably kill myslef.

That was a little insensitive of me!:rofl: By the way, if it makes you feel better, I rode motorcycles yesterday and today.:seasix: I may not be taking any awesome pictures of eagles and such, but I've been in the breeze!:cert:

A buddy up north some decades ago, had a eyeglass shop....many docs referred patients to him for script filling......and he had a Cessna 152....or at least access to one....and of course a pilot license for IT, anyway......

so we went up one day.......wind from the right, really STRONG.....he turns right, no go, harder on the rudder.....still no go....somewhere in those efforts he said screw it, turned left, circled around and we landed safe.....

that was my last trip in a small plane....:leaving:

They also give you a reason to buy new boxers, too.
