faulty remote bottle opener switch
remote bottle opener switch has been "hit or miss" for a couple of months now. in the open position it worked fine every time, but when I went to close it I had to hit it till my damn finger got sore. :skep: today I tried some "starter & generator" cleaner that I had left over from using to clean the wheel sensors when I was getting codes. that did the trick. even though I used a rag I got some on the plastic :confused5: it looks kind of "chalky" now. oh well, at least I didn't have to replace it.

Glad you got it fixed. Lucky break.
How does the opener work exactly? Do you just hit the switch and the opener runs until the bottle is open or closed or do you have to hold the switch the whole time? If you have to hold the switch how do you know when it's open/closed? |

used to be the shops used refills more as a "service." they figure to get you in there to buy N20 & you'll buy something else from them. times are tough. now they have to make $$ where they can.
