Well, Not My Best Moment
 

I received a bit of precious metal today via insertion into the prostate through the area where stuff comes out. Very humbling to say the least.

Two platinum markers were implanted for the upcoming radiation treatments, which will start in about two weeks.

These treatments have a very high succes rate which should eliminate the cancer, it was caught in time. My PSA numbers have been gradually rising in the past few years from 6 to 14. I listened to the doc.

Just before he started the procedure, I reminded him "I know where you live..."

After the 15 minute procedure, I stated, "you know this is one big pain in the ass....."

Good luck with that Norm. I am having mine removed 8/19. Early stage, but with family history and other factors, I am getting it out.

Cousin had that done Norm...had to pee into a strainer to catch any seed that may have come out and put them into a lead bag to return to Dr.
Maybe they reuse them :willy:
