Pink is for Reserves. Wendy is fully retired from 20 yrs active duty, joining Fleet Reserve. Bluish-grey is the order of the day!

And, retirement does NOT suck!

Congrats Wendy!!!!! Fair Winds and Following Seas, and best of luck in all you do!!

Glad to be apart of the Retired ranks. But just started a new job as a contract aircraft mechanic working for the Navy. Hard to let go I guess!:D

Yes :yesnod: I told my CMC I did not want a retirement ceremony. They did a surprise impromptu ceremony and gave me and Navy Commendation Metal award and "piped me over the side"!

unlike you Wendy, I have no desire to turn wrenches after I retire. I did my time getting soaked with hydraulic fluid, EGW, coolanol, engine oil and jet fuel to realize that there's easier ways to make money

tuco 03-03-2011 7:33am
