I can drive like that in a video game.

...Whitepower... 07-09-2012 11:26am

I'm over Ken Block.

I would much rather go dig up some WRC footage on youtube and watch that.

island14 07-09-2012 11:32am

No Joke, but driving like that is easy for any real race driver....

The idea is to go forward.. not sideways :yesnod:

vtelvr 07-09-2012 11:37am

Damn fine driving...

Datawiz 07-09-2012 11:38am

I would love to compete against him in autocross, in the same car of course. :seasix:

How in the hell were they able to close down all of those streets for such a long period ('cause you know he did it a couple of times)?

Got some pretty good air on that one jump.

It's edited. They probably filmed a couple sections a day over a week or two in the early morning hours on weekends (no commuter traffic). Then once they had everything they put it all together.

There's a man whose 5 senses work very well together.

vtelvr 07-09-2012 1:35pm

The jump where he is flying sideways in the car is pretty cool. Also, towards the end, did anyone catch the different tire diameters on all 4 corners? I can only assume that these are optimized for the track he is on for the stunts...

As has been said, it was filmed over a few days.

Let's not forget, this is the same city that wouldn't allow the Marines to use their city as a backdrop for a recruitment video...but they'll shut down streets and bridges for this. Typical liberal bullshit.

for 500K that Ford Fiesta sure sounds good. :D

Dan Dlabay 07-09-2012 6:52pm

That looks like it would be fun to do if only I had the skills to do it.:cert:

MrPeabody 07-09-2012 7:02pm

Actually that drive is just about as exciting if the streets are not blocked off and you are trying to dodge the usual idiots in traffic around you. After you've met that challenge, for a real thrill try and find a parking space that doesn't cost $30 a day.:leaving:
