He talks and shows the islands. There are three main islands. Luzon is the north with Manila, Visayas is the middle with Tim, and Mindanao is in the south.

There is no storm center. What they do is hole up in a school, a church or maybe even a community basketball court. Yes, a basketball court. See what I mean by no defense.

The eye of that storm is headed straight for his house.
With sustained winds in the eye-wall of 315 mph, I really fear for Tim. If that thing hits there, his house isn't going to make it. I hope he and his family are on the other side of the island on high ground.

I can't even imagine, and I've been in many storms including Andrew in S. Florida and Katrina here.

I really meant what they referred to as a reinforced building, as you say, a church, or something with a sturdy foundation. Fingers crossed.
