I guarantee that Texans will find a way to deep fry masks, make them taste good, and get people to buy them.

From the good folks who brought you deep fried butter and deep fried beer......

It's not just pizza ingredients inside a ball of dough. No. It's an actual slice of pizza, breaded and fried.

We ran out of fried dough around 3:00. Since the event "closed" at 4:00pm, we sat around for a bit. Counted out the cash box, and it looked like we had a great day of profiteering. :woohoo:

MadInNc 08-16-2020 8:18pm

way cool do you make your own perogies?

No. But Laurie did make the dough (her brother owns an Italian bakery).

The event organizers recommended that people wear masks, but there wouldn't be anyone "writing tickets". As we were outdoors, there was NFW I was going to wear a mask. And yes, we sold a few (profiteering for the win!).

One "lady" came up to our tent and stated that since I wasn't wearing a mask or gloves, she wouldn't deal with me, she would only order from Laurie, who was wearing a mask and gloves at the time. I really wanted to kick that bitch in the box, but I just smiled, and said "OK". Then helped the next customer.

There were a lot of mask wearers, but quite a few who weren't wearing them.
