IMO, GM as effed up the vette for some years now...
 

The later styling since say C5 SUX......

in fact, C4 is ok, but started the trend......and the last decent looking Vette from the factory was a C3....

I have a suspicion that Vette production will be shut down in a very few years.....

There's a 1 year waiting list for C8s.

Why would they stop making the car? Making too much money? Too popular?

BECAUSE cHINA has stopped shipping chips, same for all other cars,.....which is stooooopid on GM's part

so supply is down a LOT, but some demand still out there, BUT, IMO the styling still SUX.....instead of looking sleek it looks pretentious...

Your opinion is very much in the minority, as evidenced by the thousands of people on waiting lists, and people paying sometimes $30k over MSRP just to have one.

Let’s see……every C8 vette made to date was pre sold. Every. Single. One. I am on a 4 year wait list for a C8 Z06. Yeah, GM really screwed up.

They not making/shipping BE CAUSE of chips, like the rest of the auto industry here.....cHINA is why.......

I curious too look at the sales 'volume' compared to years ago....

as in orders placed and down payments made......not just wish lists....

As others have said, every fricking C8 of 2020 and 2021 have been presold, and they will get close to 30k C8's in 2021. 2022 is sold out, and C8 Z06's will be sold out for years. Your fodder just makes no sense.

I think the design has gone downhill after the C5 and........the 63 Split Window in my opinion is the best looking vette ever.

Sold OUT?? talking about a condominium or a CAR?? they were able to make enough, they not BE sold OUT!!!! and that is the cHINA chip crap, so what are the production volumes/sales comparisons to the past few years....

so lets say they sold a million vettes 5 years ago.....how many orders they have TODAY??? watt R the numbers...????

I agree with Gene. Corvette is only selling for 25-40k above sticker. The Z0-6 will probably go for the same amount. In another few year's they'll be only selling them for sticker and GM will go bankrupt.
