Anyone Know What Time It Is.......

My last day on the job before retirement was Dec 31, 2009. I have not worn a wrist watch since, vowed I never will, just don't like anything on my wrist.
I spend a lot of time out in the clubroom (garage) and when trying to discern the little hand from the big hand on the two wall clocks I have out there, I have to move to get closer to see.

Well I eliminated that, bought a nice large lighted digital clock that I can easily see anywhere.......yeah yeah, I know, if I had a wrist watch wouldn't need that....:D

Being retired, knowing what time it is is of no concern. :seasix:

Nice clock you have though.

Thanks. Even though retired, I do have time required commitments, and I can't stand to be late to any engagement or appointment, especially if I set it up.:D

No worry. My wife just yells at me when it's ready.

Same deal when I retired in 02. Everything has a clock with it now at the house. Shit my Yamaha 4X4 even has a clock.:D

Cars and trucks all have clocks with them. The only time since I retired I wore a wrist watch was when out on a shore excursion when sea cruising. They will not wait for you, so keeping a close track of time is mandatory.

Just the opposite, I wear a Casio dig it all on a Spy-Dell stainless twistOflex band.....for since the made the watch......40? years??? and with the mods on my '72 vette, that useless clock was one of the very first casualties with the upscale mods......

I've always been obsessed with time and I've worn a watch since my first day of school. After nearly ten years of retirement I have finally decided to not wear one constantly. My cell phone can tell me the time, and there are clocks all over the place. I have almost lost the white stripe on my wrist.:yesnod:

The thing about time is it is the great equalizer. A homeless drug addict gets the same amount of minutes in his day as Bill Gates gets, and there's nothing anyone can do to change that.

I also gave up wearing a watch on the day I retired (2012). I did wear one once since then; it was to a funeral so I could easily check to see if we'd been there long enough.

I have a small group of watches that I used to rotate through; probably should think about maybe selling them.

I was going to say it was Howdy Doody time .... (that dates me).

That shall be me again. Someday. At least I take a train and can sleep. I barely remember what that’s like.
