Coffee is vital...

for survival. Dinosaurs didn't have coffee, and look how that turned out....

I could never live there.

My parents were prolific coffee drinkers. They always drank it black and would consume a few cups every morning and then would have another cup after dinner. I didn't start drinking coffee until I joined the military and then followed my parents example and drink it black myself. I just can't get going in the morning unless I get a couple cups in me first thing to jump start my day.

U.M.

:confused5: What is that in English? :confused5:

Started maybe at 10-12, now, about 3 cups a day on average, high test, but none after about 2PM.

It is a major prerequisite for a good dump.

Started meeting friends for coffee before class my senior year of high school. Still start the day with fresh ground beans brewed in a French press.

My parents were both coffee drinkers ... in the morning when I was a kid I smelled that fresh brewed stuff and begged to have some. Mom would not let me until I was like 12 or something. Then I was hooked. I worked at a hospital dietary dept when a teen and I could have all the coffee there I wanted - so that furthered my habit. Then - the Navy. A nice hot cup of coffee while watching the ocean pass by - what could be better. Now retired I have two LARGE cups a day - a single brewer starbucks unit and I make freshly ground french roast. Yum. Having some now.

I didn't start drinking coffee until my mid 30's. I now drink one cup in the morning, and on Fridays, I go to Starbucks and get a Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte (20 oz).

Coffee saved me from the ravages of Cocaine. Why spend $20 when I can just have a cup of coffee and feel the same?

I don't understand people who drink a pot of coffee everyday. If I drank a pot of coffee I would kill someone before sundown.:yesnod:

I told my doctor this and she looked frightened.

I guess that, in english, a more descriptive comment would be "that explains a lot!" :yesnod:

When my doctor asked if I drank coffee I told him that I averaged seven cups a day. He responded that he felt that, in view of my elevated blood pressure, I should consider cutting by on my coffee consumption.

To which I replied that these were seven 12-oz mugs of coffee and how much did he think I should curtail? He had nothing to say.
